This is a wonderful example of Kanemoto school workmanship. The mei has been inlayed in Silver. This sword has a beautiful forged hada, it has the trademark sanbonsugi hamon of the Kanemoto school. The Habaki shows Kiri mon and Kiku mon on either side mounted in a very nice old shirasaya with sayagaki .
